Former GM Alan Patmore admits to stealing trade secrets from social game maker. The legal battle between Zynga and Kixeye over the alleged theft of trade secrets by Alan Patmore has ended in a settlement. Patmore, formerly general manager for Zynga’s Cityville, joined Kixeye as vice president of product in September of last year. Zynga quickly filed suit, claiming that Patmore had taken company files with him containing trade secrets including design documents for unreleased titles, monetization plans, and employee compensation information. As reported by TechCrunch, the two companies have reached a settlement, and Patmore has publicly apologized for his actions.
