EVE Online developer CCP Games has announced that it will release virtual-reality space-combat game EVE: Valkyrie in 2014, as reported by AusGamers. The game was previously shown to EVE Online series supporters as EVE-VR, a working prototype, at the company’s EVE Fanfest event held in April this year. According to a previous PCGamesN article, the game shown at the time was a six-on-six dogfighting experience set in the EVE universe. The game took advantage of the Oculus Rift and allowed players to track enemy targets by tilting and turning the headset. Players were able to fight for either Amarr or Minmatar forces in matches running for three minutes.
